STANDARDISATION SHEETS.

We have received completed standardisation sheets for the following proposals :-

ENGINE. PROPOSAL.

1/- 'H' & 'F'. Final oil connections using A.G.S. standard parts.

2/- 'F' Driving flange extended to catch oil from reduction pinion to lubricate the serrations.

3/- 'F' Hardened and lapped serrations to air screw gears, and reduced clearances to roller races.

4/- 'F' Modified 'F' crankcase having inclined webs between the main bearing cap and the outer wall.

5/- A further sheet has been signed up for the use of H.R. Crown valves for the exhaust on both 'F' and 'H' engines, but it is not proposed at the moment to introduce this modified material.

For the above standardisation sheets with the exception of the H.R. Crown Valves, official modifications should be put through to the Air Ministry.
