The interference between the front shock damper and rivets on the engine carrying cross member.

Herewith N. sch. 3408. which shews the front shock dampers in relation to the end brackets of the sheet metal cross member carrying the front end of the engine.

It will be seen that the shock damper interferes with the rivets through the frame web. We should like the lugs on the end brackets turned round as shewn.
