To HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} c. to Ck.{Mr Clark} X.180 X3729 Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}7/W25.2.20. X.180 Re Testing with Landaulet Bodies. (CJ/6/BY.2.20) With reference to CJ's recent instructions that tests should be carried out with Landaulet Bodies open at the back, as I discussed with you I telegraphed Mr. Spinney for such a body last week. He replied in accordance with the attached. The price of the body put forward seems too low for it to be sufficiently representative of our requirements. When Mr. Cowen was up last week, I also mentioned the matter to him and he said that he would do what he could to find a suitable body. Will you please take up this matter with Mr. Cowen and Mr. Spinney again, and take an early opportunity of inspecting and settling on a suitable body. Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} 2 encs. | ||
