Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} DEC 22 1926 RECEIVED X8450. BY/ALEE [Strikethrough] Copied. [Strikethrough] C. Gen. Man. [Strikethrough] c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} [Strikethrough] c. Sft{Mr Swift} [Strikethrough] BY11/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 21.12.26. ------------------------ "K" SERIES SIDE STEERING TUBE. ------------------------ It is important that we should cancel the instructions originally issued, and replace same for "K" Series by a scheme based on N.Scheme 2308. The springs will have to be left open for the moment, but here again if we are pushed possibly some of the springs I have ordered as referred to in BY10/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 21.12.26. may come in. In regard to cars from 151 in "J" to 200 in "J", we only propose to change the stiffness of the tube from the original instruction. The spring pads and springs as ordered will fall into line with the scheme for earlier chassis in "J", 101 to 150. and it is agreed by Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} that this scheme is satisfactory, besides being necessary to enable us to deliver chassis without a break in continuity.
