Dear Sirs,

We have recently had a failure of one of the new type 843 sparking plugs which we are now testing out on a higher powered 20/25 engine. It occurred to us that the design calls for improvement and we wonder whether you have a similar plug in design characteristics and heat characteristics of the washer type construction, if so we should be glad to receive a sample of this plug for examination and test.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
