contd:- -6- by car if the roads were like English roads, but I have decided to stay here till the 22nd. April, and return by train in one journey. My own impression of Goshawk 11. is that the bolts are generally on the small size, and the same size should be used on the Peregrine, and where they get less on Goshawk they should be put up a size. Kindly note (E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} and Mr. Stent) the undershield is quite good and very easily taken down. It looks to me that the steering levers might be slightly longer and so carry cross tube slightly further back and reduce the load on the ball joints. Kindly look into this as a further move. R.{Sir Henry Royce} It has been since reported our measure was somewhat wrong (a slightly too small 1/4 gall. jug) but still we can modify the length and position or shape enough to make the cover more convenient.
