XR12b GEORGE ROBERTS, % PEEK, FREAN & CO. LTD., DRUMMOND ROAD, LONDON, S.E.16. TELEGRAMS: "PICKAXE, LONDON" TELEPHONE: 3570 HOP (EIGHT LINES) LONDON, S.E. 16. 26th Septembeng 21. Messrs Rolls-Royce Limited, Nightingale Road, D E R B Y. Dear Sirs, I am obliged for your letter of the 24th inst. I note that you have traced the arrival of the parcel on July 13th. I am, however, still puzzled that my letter of the 12th July should not have reached your Department. It seems strange, does it not? I have no plug by me, but I am writing to my friends to send over a new series of 12 plugs at once. I shall be pleased if you will then give them a trial, i.e., first an ordinary running test and then a thorough and exhaustive trial over a long run to see how the plugs behave. Meanwhile, I am, Yours truly, George Roberts | ||
