Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. W.A.Robotham. Further to our Mr.Hewitt's letter of the 20th.inst., concerning the Piston for your 40/50 h.p. Engine, we enclose herewith a sketch showing the essentials of the B.H.B. type. The design as shown will weigh approximately, in a casting made from Alum. L.8., 1 3/4 to 2 lbs., bare. We shall be pleased to receive a completed drawing of your own design of Piston to enable us to go more fully into these figures, as of course it is very difficult for us to give you any other than an approximate weight, owing to the sketch which was sent to us affording very little information. Yours faithfully, FOR THE AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING COMPANY LTD. | ||
