To Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X176/ Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG24.5.23. DUNLOP DISCS. With reference to the Dunlop Discs which have been sent to us. As we do not recommend any type of disc for our car, we do not see any useful object would be achieved by our testing the Dunlop Discs. We realise we cannot prevent customers having discs on their wheels if they insist, but we certainly cannot accept the responsibility of recommending them. The discs at present used are nearly all fitted in London by Coachbuilders - it might be advisable, therefore, to send the discs on to them. Please let us know what you wish us to do in the matter.
