6092 To By, from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC{R. Childs}, c. By/RD. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}7/MH.{M. Huckerby}14.1.38. FUSE FOR REGULATOR RESISTANCE UNIT. As reported in our memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}7/MH.{M. Huckerby}18.11.37 the fuses supplied by the makers, to DW.448, with a nominal value of two amperes were found to be too heavy; having an actual fusing current of 2.4 to 2.7 amperes. These fuses, twelve in all, as indicated in that report, were returned to the makers with the request that they be reloaded to fuse at a current lying between the limits of 1.75 and 2.0 amperes. The reloaded fuses were duly received by us, and on test were found to be correct. Will you please note that fuses of the latter type, having a fusing value between 1.75 and 2.0 amperes, should be obtained for production. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} | ||
