SpectreCodename for Phantom III Gearbox.
------------------

We find that the application of silent 1st and reverse gears to the SpectreCodename for Phantom III gearbox involves more alteration than we had at first anticipated, and as a result we think that it would be best to hold up the detailing of the designs which were recently issued to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} until we can send particulars of the modifications.

We shall be able to send 75% of the information required by next Saturday, 26th inst. and the remainder during the following week.

If it appears that the gearbox to the above designs will not be ready as soon as the rest of the car, the J.3. type gearbox which is under construction, can be taken for the SpectreCodename for Phantom III and with slight adaptation, which we have already investigated, can be fitted in this car.
