Re- Springing of 1.EX.
Mr. Hives,
I have only been able to check poundage of one spring so I have also taken No of Plates & distance between buffers & axle.
NS{Norman Scott} Spring Marked. 1700. No of Plates - 9.
Distance between centre of rubber buffer & axle = 4 1/2".
OS Spring. ? 1800 No of Plates. 10.
Distance between centre of rubber buffer & axle = 4.8125".
I will write Nice Depot. on chance of finding some weaker springs.
The trouble is, we are nearly always lightly loaded, and the roads are in such a bad condition that it shakes, R.{Sir Henry Royce} up to much in the rear seats.
Yours truly,
F.{Mr Friese} Dodd.
