Hives, Roycar, Derby. VERY ANXIOUS ABOUT PISTON RINGS. UNDERSTAND PLAIN RING WILL BE USED AT ONCE ON TWENTY HP. PRODUCTION BUT PHANTOM STILL DEPENDING ON OUR L. SHAPE. SUGGEST PISTON LEC. 2554 WITH BOTTOM SCRAPER MIGHT BE A SOLUTION. IF REQUIRED TO BE MORE EFFECTIVE USE TWO PERFECT CIRCLES OR FACE RELIEVED RINGS. ALTERED OIL GROOVES IN BEARINGS AND BIG ENDS SHOULD HELP ALSO RINGS C.D. & E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} LEC. 2577 EARLY REPLY DESIRED. ROYCE.
