X5000 To RHO. from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}/JNK. WYMN E/JNK.2/HP.31.3.33. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 20/25 HP. Crankcase Breather. Before we put a cast baffle in the crankcase to prevent the oil running out the breather pipe, we wish to try the effect of this by making one in sheet metal, bolted and rivetted on as shown on LeC.3423. Will you please have one made up and tried experiment-ally. Should this prove satisfactory as we expect, we will have a baffle made permanent in the crankcase. We have consulted the pattern maker who says it can be done. E/JNK. | ||
