Radiator Mascot - Bentley.

We attach herewith a print of LeC.3633 shewing our suggestions for improving the Bentley "B" mascot.

We have attempted to impart into the "B" some sense of movement and also to obtain more cohesion between the wings and the body of the mascot.

The "B" has also been made wide enough at the base to avoid any additions to the side of the letter, for the purpose of forming a boss as on the old design.

The wings have been altered to partake more of the character of those used in the latest batch.

We think the central perspective view gives the best picture of what we are aiming at. The absolute side elevation should not be taken as a good indication of appearance since the mascot is practically never viewed dead on to the wings at this level, but this view is given to indicate the shape of the letter.

If you think our proposal is an improvement on the original, and there are no further ideas forthcoming we suggest having a model made up to LeC.3633 for inspection.

The mascot would be mounted as usual so that it could be turned relative to the cap for adjusting the position and the edge of the cap will be milled as on the model passed at Derby by the last Conference on the appearance question.
