X5D8 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}19/KW.17.1.36. 25/30 HP. We have carried out a series of tests on the induction pipe it is proposed to standardise for the above engine. So far, the results are good. The fault of the Stromberg carburetter flooding when tilted, however, will only be completely taken care of when the slight modification to the pattern as shown on Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}47 has been carried out. Will you therefore please produce 6 sets of induction systems as follows, incorporating this mod. 3 Induction Pipes to Ex.21111 (mod. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}47) in aluminium. 3 " " " to Ex.21111 (mod. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}47) in aluminium, but with flanges modified to suit the new turbulent head. 6 Exhaust Manifolds to suit. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/C.T.Salt. | ||
