We have investigated the suggested composite type of fan pulley, consisting of a 2 Dished Nickel steel pressings spot welded together, as shown on Drawing SK.5028, and estimate that the saving in Factory cost over the present type of Pulley, which is a machined forging, would amount to at least 1/6 per chassis.
