-5- output is good - not being too ambitious at the start - we intend to proportion the taper of the jet needle to give the required metering. We hope to have this done very soon and report on its performance in a few days. So far we are satisfied the parts work as intended, but our chief troubles are that when spraying the mixture from the walls of the choke, we apparently need a larger choke area than when the mixture is supplied by a centrally situated diffuser. We have not yet any substantial proof that compensating for this by a slightly larger choke should prove a disadvantage. We shall know more after our next tests. In all the above tests the mixture has been controlled by hand, the needle valve not being connected with the restrictor mechanism. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/ACL. | ||
