GOSHAWK 11. PRODUCTION.

In CJ13/E3222, he deals with the Electrical Equipment as follows:-

"The electrical equipment does not appear to be waiting for W.W. although naturally it is very late, but Derby will push on with the preparation of this equipment with a view to fitting it on the 10,000 Trials car, which it is expected will be on the road by the 15th March.

Derby have been warned that, if there is any unforeseen difficulty in connection with this equipment, they must be prepared, at any rate for the first hundred cars, to fit standard equipment made outside.

The vital point to be remembered is that the first deliveries must take place on the 1st June, and that any talk of the 1st September must be put out of the head of anyone in the Company".

In view of the foregoing will you kindly give the matter of the electrical equipment consideration, so that in the event of R.R. equipment not materialising, or some unforeseen trouble arising, we shall be in the position to definitely order equipment from an outside firm. It should be noted that we will require three months in which to obtain the equipment, so that if by the second week in March we cannot definitely make up our minds about the R.R. equipment we shall have to order from C.A.V. or Lucas.
