HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/AD2.7.30. contd. -2- 4. GEAR SHIFT. Modifications have been made to the left-hand gear shift to prevent the jingling and excessive side play. Cy. tried the car before it went to France and was satisfied that it was a definite improvement over the first car, but it still may require a certain amount of work on it before it is finally satisfactory. 5. HORNS. We have this last day or two received two or three sample horns from Lucas. 6. OILS. American oils are being used in engine gear box on 24-EX in France. 7. SHUTTERS. The arrangement of the thermostat control has been modified since the first car, and acceleration tests and air temperature tests are at present being carried out. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
