Instructions for building two new 41-slot armatures for S.S. Chassis and Data Starter Motors.

S.S. CHASSIS AND DATA STARTER MOTORS.

ARMATURES AND COMMUTATORS.

Will you please put in hand two armatures, one for each of the above machines, having 41 slots to:-

D.71713 - Armature L.O.P.
D.71713 - Armature Assembly.
D.71708 - Oil Thrower. - 1 off.
.D.71709 - Wire for Armature. - 2 lbs.
D.71712 - Armature Coil. - 41 off.

D.71711 - Commutator L.O.P.
D.71711 - Commutator Assembly.

If the 45 slot armatures have not been built all the parts can be used, except new wire is required for the coils and a new oil thrower.

The commutators are made, we understand, but they could be undone and new copper fitted (D.71628/9).

This change in armature will involve an alteration to the bearing bracket, see alterations 2585/6/D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}
