Re: Second L.H. P.2 for America.
-----------------------------

Thanks for DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/M21.7.30.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} called here and saw me on his way back to Derby from West WitteringHenry Royce's home town and as I understood that R.{Sir Henry Royce} had approved of the bonnet I wrote confirming its approval and for standardisation for all the chassis for America and for Home production at the same time.

The same remarks also apply to the instrument board as fitted to this car.

I note you still consider that R.{Sir Henry Royce} would wish a sample board built up as per N. Scheme 3106 and I will speak about this when I am at Derby this week.

Re Front Apron. Will you please send the scheme to Derby for this and I should be glad if you would ask them to send me a blue print of it.

If Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} can arrange to fit it to the Second L.H. P.2 before going to America, and without causing delay, I shall be glad if he will do so. If not I should like it fitted to some other experimental car as early as possible.

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}
