To Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} x8230 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn{Mr Robinson}8/LG14.7.27. Quarterly complaints. x8150 (1) Failure of water pump. A standardisation sheet has been circulated for a new type of gland which we have recently developed. This we believe overcomes our present troubles and has successfully run over 9000 miles on experimental cars. (2) Hot spot pipe. In order to eliminate the difficulties at present associated with the exhaust butterfly throttle and exhaust pipe, W.W. have completely redesigned the method of supplying heat to the carburetter. This new scheme will shortly be on experimental test. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
