200a. To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}1/AP.3.1.38 WEEK-END RUN ON 3.B.1V. The only two real complaints on this car are:- (1) Knock in the back when the axle goes over a bump. (2) A rattle somewhere in the vicinity of the passengers' feet but which I have not been able to find. Other points to notes- (a) The speedometer drive is very noisy for the first few miles when cold. (b) The brakes are efficient but rumble in the same way as the rear brakes on a Phantom III. (c) The ride is nowhere as near as good as an ordinary Bentley at high speeds. (d) Duravista is definitely a hindrance at night. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
