X.3461 To Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} from By/RB.{R. Bowen} By/RB{R. Bowen}2/P20.11.16 X.682 RE TRUFFAULT SHOCK ABSORBERS. ON 7-CA. X.3461 With reference to the fouling of the above Shock Absorbers on the Brake Brackets on 7-CA, I find that if we reduce the length of the lever to 7" and increase the length of the connecting rod to 7" between ball centres, at the same time adding a little more off set to the lever this will clear the brake drums quite easily. I have had drawings made F.6464 of the new shaped lever and F.6465 of the new tube and instructed two of the tubes through the Order Office. The levers I take it, you will be able to fix yourself, as they should be the old ones changed to suit. By/RB.{R. Bowen} | ||
