BATTERY IGNITION DISTRIBUTORS Some time ago we suggested that the battery ignition distributor tower should be bushed as it has been found that the advance and retard movement very soon becomes slack due to wear on the aluminium. Could you please arrange for the distributors on experimental chassis to be so treated as this slackness causes irregularities in ignition at the high engine speeds we are now running.
