K453a. G.W.Hancock Esq., Hotel de France. Chateauroux, Indre, FRANCE. From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/MA.23.8.33. We have now decided to send you out a standard radiator so that you can see if it has any effect on your oil temperature. We should like to know whether your cutout is giving satisfaction. We have had a case here where the flat plate valve has distorted and it may have been due to running on the If your is OK. we shall not worry. We should like to know whether the petrol pumps are quiet in their new position and whether the baffle in the tank is satisfactory to prevent them making a noise three or four gallons before the reserve is reached. We are concerned about the points burning on your petrolifts and should like you to watch the two new ones we have sent out closely. We have noticed that the front engine bush bearing knocks when it has been running for some time, the knock can be cured with a little oil and paraffin. We should like to know whether you have experienced this trouble. We have several cases where the large X335 plugs have missed on the pick up. Since you have not reported the trouble we think it must be due to the use of Ethyl. Which do you consider to be the better the Lodge or the K.L.G. plugs.
