BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to BJ. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} +7520 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M19.7.28. 'SS{S. Smith}' CENTRAL LUBRICATION. REAR DAMPER CONNECTING ROD. X.3806 X.7520 Herewith we send N.sch.2658 shewing the methods of lubricating the ball end and connecting rod on the rear shock damper with N.schs. 2651 and 2652 respectively. The question of the intermingling of the two kinds of oil must have arisen on the existing central chassis lubrication, and it is possible that there are already some indications as to whether it is detrimental or not.
