PHANTOM 11 10,000 MILES CAR.

The Phantom 11 test car has been delayed owing to some of the new pieces not being completed.

There have been several reasons for this. One is that we have had to prepare the 20 HP. car which will start off next week, and although we have had one of these cars running, it was essential for us to dismantle it and thoroughly examine the conditions of the parts before the test starts.

The other point has been that a lot of work has been done in trying to get a scheme to eliminate jellying of the radiator.

From experience of Phantom 11 it would appear that this is the most serious complaint that we have had and therefore any means that we have of preventing it should be fitted on to this 10,000 mile car.

23-EX car will be running next week unless we delay it to fit any further experiments. At the moment the detailed list of Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/MJ14.12.29 contains all the new parts which have been fitted to this car.
