The Lodge Sparking Plug Co. Ltd.,
Rugby.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. A.{Mr Adams} Lodge.

We are returning to you 5 KR5 plugs fitted with copper electrodes. These plugs worked alright and they did not pre-ignite, but as you will see they have fallen to bits. The reason appears to be due to the copper electrode either stretching or expanding due to heat and releasing the nut which holds the mica washers. I notice on some of the KR3 plugs, this nut is pinned.

KR5 plugs with steel electrodes, we will let you know about them to-morrow.

We are returning 3 of the KR4 plugs. It will be seen that the nickel points have dropped out. The labels attached shew how long these plugs have run. We will return the rest of the KR4 sometime this week.

Yours faithfully,
