Derby.
Dear Mr.Robotham,
I am so sorry your letter of the 16th instant has not been replied to earlier, but I had to see my Directors about it, and have been away from the office for the best part of a week.
We feel that some definite arrangement should be made to cover our collaboration with you on this engine, and as far as possible to arrange the commercial terms under which you would manufacture the engine.
I think it would be a good idea if I came to Derby to discuss the matter with you, and then I will put forward official proposals for Mr.Hives consideration, and I shall be very pleased to finalise the whole matter with him.
Any day next week would suit me to come to Derby to see you, and I shall be glad if you can let me know by Wednesday of this week which day would be suitable for you.
With kind regards,
Yours sincerely,
H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Sammons
HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/PET.
