You will note the balance of 3/8½d, and the 22 francs which head the list, of which you are already aware. This was paid out of my expenses to Odille so that J.A. Behnan could bring the accounts up to date; therefore, the total which should be returned to J.A. Behnan is 3/8½d, plus 22 francs, making a total of 41.50 francs. It hardly seems worth returning this by post, as we are probably returning to France in a week or two. I have, therefore, kept the 3/8½ balance till I see you in Derby. H.F. Hamilton. | ||
