87810 To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/MJ.20.6.31. PHANTOM 11 CARS FOR AMERICA. Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}12/E18.6.31. We have attempted to standardise 19" rims in place of the present 20" but we have found that these wheels increase the road shocks on the steering. At the present time we are not in a position to recommend the use of a smaller diameter wheel. The Phantom 11 steering is not very good at present. We are trying out modifications to improve it. If we are successful, we will be able to use smaller wheels, but we certainly cannot do so at present. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
