Instructions for altering the Condenser on a 20 HP Chassis to create a definite earth connection.

In order to obtain a definite Earth Connection for the Condenser, will you please have the standard Condenser altered to take the following parts:- D.51354 - Connector (Long). D.51355 - " (Short). D.51362 - Condenser Case Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} D.51363 - Contact Piece. D.50582 - Rivet (Shortened to suit). D.50583 - Washer. As far as the Lid{A. J. Lidsey} is concerned we think the standard Lid{A. J. Lidsey} can be altered. When rigging up this connection on the Chassis 40/36's wire should be used to connect the Cable Eye on the Distributor to the chassis frame in some suitable place with a Ross Courtney Terminal - facile mark "L" type, together with the necessary bolt, plain washer, lock washer and nut. If this is successful we will then ask "P" Dept. to provide a drawing of the fixing. It should be remembered that the frame should be scraped clean of dirt or paint where this connection is made.
