Handwritten: AC As R.P. X. 4117 Typed: S/W Re 83-TC..Hooper Trials Car. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Capt. Pelham-Clinton (Managing Director of Hoopers) recently took this car to the South of France. Whilst there, he took two or three "Phantom" owners out, one in particular being O'Brien who was complaining bitterly of the discomfort of his springing - this complaint is in the hands of Paris at the moment. On arrival back in Paris Capt. Pelham Clinton demonstrated his car to HK.{Col. T. Harker - Sales} and Ps. who write as follows:- "When Capt. Pelham-Clinton was here with his car, Ps and I gave it a good grilling over our 'No.2 Test Road' which is the worst road anywhere around here and will show up any bad rattles, faulty springs, steering wobbles, etc. immediately.
