Bentley, 25/30, & Ph.111 Rear Axle.

Herewith drawing Ex.L.76, shewing suggested alteration to the production of Near Side End Plate.
At present the End Plate and Supporting Ring are machined all over and rivetted together and again machined, chiefly to take out distortion; also an independent Housing is employed. All the above parts are produced to fine limit dimensions.
We suggest these parts be incorporated into one forging, for the following reasons -
Reduced number of machine parts employed.
" cost.
" weight.
Simplify the job.
