X8796 To BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD. from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} c. RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T18.6.26. X.8796. WATFORD E06 MAGNETO. Will you please give an instruction to the Expl. Shop to modify Watford magneto No. 874/S to render it possible for the movement of the sleeve, for the whole (or very nearly the whole) 60° range, in a direction of advance instead of as at present having approximately half this in each direction of advance and retard. RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} will note that this is the magneto that has already been modified by him to provide universal cams for making and breaking in any position. The object of the whole re-arrangement is to find experimentally the allround best internal time functioning of this magneto, representative of our present standard. EFC. {E.
