| "QUICK FIT" GAITER. The Gaiter that never Gapes. IN placing before you our Patent "QUICK FIT" Gaiter, for Motor Car Springs, we would call your attention to the following distinguishing features which make this gaiter superior to all others in efficiency, neat appearance, and ease of fitting. NO HOOKS. NO LACING. A set can be fitted to your Car in a few minutes. However variable the load on the car, the "QUICK FIT" Gaiter never gapes nor wrinkles, a special steel blade in the overlapping edge preventing it. This blade is normally of opposite curvature to the camber of the spring, so that when the gaiter is turned into position a perfectly elastic and uniform tight joint is maintained at all times along the whole length of the spring. Observe the leather flap which lies snugly along edge of spring. The absorbent material sealing the gaiter at either end, making it impossible for the grease to get out or the dirt and wet to get in. Consequently saving your springs from rust, ensuring maintenance of lubrication and also giving resiliency and perfect riding qualities.
