Dear Sirs,

R.R. 40/50 H.P. Battery in Two 6-volt Units.

We would like at this stage, in view of our accumulated experience of the types of failure occurring in cells, to suggest that you send to us an up to date cell in a dry condition for inspection, fully representative of the cells which you are now supplying to us made up into 6-volt units for our 40/50 HP chassis.

If this is agreeable to yourselves, will you please arrange to have the cell addressed for the attention of the undersigned.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED
