Report.

We found the commutator on this dynamo in a badly scored condition. Also the solder had commenced to run at the joints.
We also noticed that new brushes had been fitted and these are not of the same design as we supply.
The machine had been repaired by somebody away from the works and although this machine is of the very old type (29 segment) the scoring of the commutator was most certainly caused by somebody outside the works.
