X.3048 - THINER PLATES ON MAGNETO DRIVING SPINDLES.

With reference to the above experiment Mr. Hives remarks:-
"These have been running on an engine for 80 or 100 hours. They are quite satisfactory. We cannot say that they are better than the present ones, because we have never known a case of engines in service where the magneto driving plates have failed or caused trouble."
