Contd. -12- EFC2/T6.10.19. The insulated contact and the insulated side of the condenser are brought out to an insulated terminal on the condenser casing. (n) MAGNETO & DISTRIBUTOR. The magneto fitted is a watford E.6. A low tension connection for earthing purposes is taken from the low tension terminal on the magneto to the earthing terminal on the steering column switch, for the purpose of putting the magneto ignition out of action when desired. (o) Connections for the Klaxon and switch are taken from the positive and negative bus bar of the Lucas junction box. (p.q.) Connections for body lighting and other accessory apparatus if fitted, will be taken from these same bus bars, (4) ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS OF UNITS. (a) (b) (c) Connections of dynamo, switchbox, and lamps. The connections of the dynamo to the switchbox and the switchbox to the lamps have already been described under the sections for dynmo and switchbox above. (b)(c)(d)(j). Connections of Battery, Junction Box, Switchbox and Ammeter. The light current leadsfrom the battery are first of all brought up the junction box by means of a two core cable, the positive connection being connected to the positive terminal of the junction box, and the negative connection anchored to an insulated terminal on the side of the box. The positive and negative connections of the battery are continued onward from Contd. | ||
