The characteristics of this spring are not considered to be satisfactory for the purpose to which it is put. A spring of lighter gauge wire of 50% more uncompressed length and giving the same pressure in the set-up position would be better, provided the maximum stress remains well within the elastic limit. Will you kindly look into the matter of obtaining one or two springs with these modified characteristics. EFC. | ||
