To R.{Sir Henry Royce} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Rg.{Mr Rowledge} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Lr.{Mr Ellor} Lp.{Mr Lappin} KP. ORIGINAL Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/MJ.16.11.32. Attached herewith is a report on the Special Category Test carried out on engine 119 at increased rating. This engine was run at a rating of 600 HP. at 2500 Normal R.P.M. The condition which fixed the rating was that we wished to be able to use full throttle when flying level at 15,000 ft., this being the altitude where most of the machine performance figures are taken. The engine is now being built up for final test and we expect to despatch it in two days. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Complete report attached to R.{Sir Henry Royce}, Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}, Rg.{Mr Rowledge}, Lr.{Mr Ellor} | ||
