WRAITH III CHASSIS.

With reference to memo By.2/AP.3.2.38., on the question of material not released for the first 100 sets; we have investigated the sections affected and are proceeding with tools and material instructions as follows :-

(1)
Crankcase & Bearings
Crankshafts etc.
Material instructions & tooling to proceed, with the exception of the details affected by modifications to rear bearing.

(2)
Valve Springs.
These will not affect tooling or material instructions, remainder of parts on this section should be released.

(3)
Timing gears & Cam Balancer.
The details affected will not interfere with material investigations or tooling.

(4)
Inlet Pipes, Carburetter Air Silencer & Petrol Drain Pipes.
Material investigations & tooling can proceed.

(5)
Oil Sump Indicator.
Material investigation & tooling can proceed.
