BENTLEY INDUCTION SYSTEM.

We have now completed our tests on the Bentley induction system, and find that by using a venturi type of centre piece, as shewn in V.1553, with a .500" central hole, we get the best results. The facts of this are, (a) improved slow running, (b) improved snap opening up, (c) improved low speed acceleration, (d) loss of 2% of maximum H.P., and (e) increase in induction pipe roar which we can get rid of by our intake silencer.

We should like this induction pipe centre piece to be instructed for the first fifteen Bentleys.
