3/8" studs and shall split-pin the nuts as Mr. Elliott suggested.

We have received the radiator mounting parts for 24-EX, and shall start work on this car to-morrow.

Re the article in the paper that Ps. spoke about, it is evident that, whoever the person is who wrote it, is out to make trouble. Upon my arrival here, I found also a copy of the Journal with the paragraph marked out in blue. This had been sent by the Paper. One has also been sent to the Chief of the Police in Paris who has communicated with our Chief of Police, who has to make a report to him verifying the article or otherwise. He has sent word round for us to interview him in the morning.

We shall take the attitude of not testing in this country, purely and simply touring, and shall place before him as an example your Triptyque showing that the cars do not stay in Châteauroux for test purposes, but are touring not only France but Italy, Switzerland and Germany. Therefore we cannot see how they can assume that we are using Châteauroux solely for testing cars, when, by the evidence we show him, we are touring more or less all the Continent. I believe this will be the wisest course to take, and belie the statements that have been given in the paper.

We will send you the result of our interview.
