666a To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Chateauroux, France. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/MH.{M. Huckerby}23.8.39. In the event of hostilities breaking out we do not want you to bring 30.G.VII back, but store it in a Garage in France and leave a driver with it, the remainder of the personnel returning. We will send you a wire when the situation becomes acute, though if you feel that you will not manage to get back, from information you receive prior to this in France, you are entitled to move on your own initiative. We believe, however, that if you do not have to bring the car over and can choose any sea route you should not have much difficulty in getting across. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
