The uneven wear on the front tyres on 3-B-50, is apparently overcome by the fitting of the new yoke pieces. We consider the worst feature of tyres at the moment, Avon's particularly is the squealing on corners. With regard to tyre wear the average life of eight front tyres removed from 8-B-V, 9-B-V, 10-B-V and B.22.AW, is 7,341 miles and of eight tyres removed from the rears on 8-B-V, 10-B-V, 12-B-V and B.22.Aw. is 8,172 miles. We have no record of Dunlop tyres running out on B.V. cars. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} | ||
