8" STATIC DEFLECTION SPRINGS. B.111 FRONT SUSPENSION

The accompanying table gives particulars of springs of 8" static deflection for B.111, suitable for the latest frame. These particulars have been prepared in response to a request from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}

We understand that springs of similar static deflection are behaving well on the first B.111 car, which has the earlier frame, and these springs are wanted for test on the bump chassis, and so that the next B.111 car (the bump chassis and the second B.111 car, both having the latest frame) can have springs to match those on the first car.
